To celebrate the launch of the new IDEOS™ smartphone with Google™   exclusive to 2degrees Mobile – we’ve issued nzgirls with the ‘So Smart Style Challenge’.

If you’re in the market for a smartphone, then the new IDEOS™ smartphone with Google™ exclusive to 2degrees Mobile is the smart (and stylish) decision in every way; at $379.00 it’s a third of the price of many leading smartphones on the market, while still packing a punch technically thanks to the Android 2.2 operating system allowing you to access the web, email, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and over 80, 000 apps (as well as calling and texting) AND it looks good too in either pink or blue.

Together with 2degrees Mobile we want you to embody the characteristics of the new IDEOS™ smartphone with Google™ and channel the vibe of our ‘So Smart’ style icons below (ala Emma Stone, Alexa Chung, Zooey Deschanel or Natalie Portman) and pull together a fitting fashion spread on Polyvore.

Our favourite one will win a style pack worth over $2000 including:

• An IDEOS™ smartphone with Google™ ($379.00) exclusive to 2degrees Mobile
• A year’s worth of airtime ($240)
• And a ‘top to toe, spoil-me day’ with well known stylist to the stars, Signature Style’s Jackie O’Fee (worth over $1500)

To enter follow these easy steps:

1: Decide which of the above ‘So Smart’ style icons you’re going to channel and then which new IDEOS™ smartphone with Google™ best represents your own brand of ‘So Smart’ style – the blue or the pink.

2: After clicking on your favourite coloured IDEOS™ smartphone with Google™ above, you’ll find yourself on Polyvore. Either create an account, log in via your Facebook account OR if you’ve already had a play, log in. Then start designing your winning spread making sure to include at least one image of the IDEOS™ smartphone with Google™. You can use the Polyvore ‘Clip to Polyvore’ function to pull images from other places, or simply use the database of over 100,000 pre-loaded items already in Polyvore.

3: Once you’ve perfected your spread (ala our ‘So Smart It Hurts’ example above with Emma Stone) then publish it on Polyvore. Copy the URL for the set and paste it in the comments box below with the words:

“Check out my entry in the 2degrees Mobile ‘So Smart Style Challenge’ featuring the blue/pink IDEOS™ smartphone with Google™ and [your 'So Smart' style icon's name] here, [ URL to your Polyvore set ]“.

4: For another entry in the draw, share the link of your spread with others by tweeting about it! Don’t forget to include the hashtag #sosmartstyle so we can find it!

Terms and Conditions: All standard nzgirl competition terms and conditions apply. Entries open Thursday 18 November at 9am and close at 5pm on Friday 10 December. A valid entry constitutes a comment in the box below, featuring a URL to a Polyvore set with at least one inclusion of an IDEOS™ smartphone with Google™ and one ‘So Smart’ style icon. One additional entry (per set) into the draw is gained by retweeting the URL to your Polyvore set. You can enter as many sets as you like before the closing date of the competition. Judging will be done by Tee Twyford, nzgirl editor and a representative of 2degrees Mobile. The date of the day with Signature Style’s Jackie O’Fee will commence subject to the timetables of both the winner and Signature Style.
