READ, WATCH, LISTEN: What’s Tiki Up To That You Need To Know About?
Holy crappola – we’re talking about New Year’s Eve already? Oh hell YES we are…. because it’s less than six months away, and your party planning starts now.
And, a whole 25 years after forming back in 1992 (when some of you weren’t even born), Christchurch dub darlings Salmonella Dub are reuniting with Tiki Taane to perform three epic summer gigs in Mangawhai, Christchurch and Taupo!
The crew promise an “audio-visual, bass heavy, back catalogue mash up with a super-abundantly full treasure chest of guests”. Sounds like New Year’s to me!
And with tunes like Love Your Ways, For The Love Of It, Push On Thru, these shows will be all kind of special.
Tiki cannot wait, saying:
Salmonella Dub are Kiwi legends having smashed out seven studio albums, three remix albums, a live album with the NZSO, four EPs, with more than 161 songs, 10 x platinum across a catalogue that has sold over 600,000 worldwide, with more than 270 festival appearances (makes me exhausted just thinking about this stat!!!), and so many tours they’ve lost count. Their status as one of our most loved bands is undeniable, so I say, bring on summer and let’s get those road trips happening!
