I had the pleasure of visiting the Spa at the Pullman to celebrate their revised Spa menu and the launch of their 24 Carat Gold facial. The revised spa menu introduces premium French brand (and one of my personal favourites) Thalgo to its product and treatment offering.
“Thalgo is an established spa and beauty brand which harnesses the riches and extraordinary potential of the ocean to develop its products,” says Steve Bartholomew, Spa director.
“The brand uses natural marine algae ingredients which are complementary to the human body. Thalgo relaxation treatments are a welcome addition to our Spa and existing ranges.
A new ultimate milk and honey foot ritual pedicure has also been added, which is rich in vitamins and amino acids and costs $25. They have also added an express manicure service: nail shape, cuticle clean, moisturise hands and finishes with the OPI shade of your choice (all for $50 or $10 extra for OPI Gel Colour).
But perhaps the most exciting addition is the 24 Carat Gold Facial. Sheets of genuine 24 Carat Gold leaf are applied to the face after cleanse and exfoliation. Pure 24 carat gold is known to improve cellular regeneration, prevent the breakdown of elastin and protect your skin from the elements. The treatment, exclusive to Spa at The Pullman, lasts 75 minutes and costs $180.
