I know a lot of new products come out making a huge range of claims about their performance. I don’t know who tests those products, and therefore where they get these claims from, however I am usually very disappointed with them and find that they all tend to give you the same results.
The Maybelline Falsies Flared mascara is not one of those products. I was so pleasantly surprised by how well this worked, that I don’t know if I’ll ever go back to my other mascara.
It genuinely gives the impression that you are wearing false eyelashes. Maybe not the $200+ falsies, but maybe the $100 ones. They appear bigger, bolder, and make your eyes pop awake!
The wand is designed with two sides, and the only hint I would give is to get practiced at using the mascara quite quickly. You are meant to use the smaller side to load your lashes with product, then the wider, longer side to spread it out. The mascara dries pretty quickly, so you’ll want to do step two as fast as possible.
I haven’t tried getting this off with just water, however my gentle foaming make-up remover takes it all off really well.
I would definitely recommend this product to anyone and will be sticking with this brand for the foreseeable future!
