I really wanted to love this product – with extremely curly dry frizzy hair I am always on the look out for a product that can tame the beast. Unfortunately Dove Nutri Serum wasn’t that product. While the serum smelt FANTASTIC I found it did’t really make much difference to my hair despite trying it on wet and dry hair. Conscious that my hair isn’t the norm I passed the serum around a few of my friends and colleagues for them to try it out (share the love). Their reviews were similar to mine – great smelling nice light product but not much of an impact. It’s hard to know whether it would have made more of an impact if I had used the recommended Dove Shampoo and Conditioner with it or if I had tried to do the whole blow drying straight thing with it – sadly I lack the co-ordination for that so I will never know. Overall I did like the product but purely for the smell and texture not for the result. If I’m honest I probably wouldn’t buy it again just because it didn’t provide the taming qualities I was after.
