After trawling the internet looking for a nice wee place to to spend some time away from the busy, hussle and bussle of life and to relax and rejuvinate I came across this wee place. With a range of accommodation option, from the Magic Cottage (sleeps 1 – 2) to The House which sleeps up to 12 and still looks hevenly!
Although it is winter and Northland is more of a summer get away spot I decided this would be a goer, so I have booked in for 3 nights in July and am super excited. We will be staying the the River Cottage which sleeps up to 4, has a cosy wood fireplace, all linen is provided and on the deck there is a private outdoor bath!! Even with running hot water!
We got a wee winter special of $500 for 3 night (stay 3, pay2) This special is valid until 31st August. I made the reservation via email and Anna was most helpful. Once the reservation has been confirmed she gives you directions and a few ins and outs.
They also have kayaks, life jackets and paddles which you can borrow or exlpore the 150 acres of farmland! This has been marked out for your convenience.
If you want a relaxing massage or facial while there they can arrange for this too.
On the website you will find photo’s and video’s of each cottage as well as what they have to offer. If you are looking for a romatic holiday or a relaxing trip with the girls I think this will be the place to do it! I am really looking forward to it!
