Tonight I went to the Flying Burrotio Brothers with my friend Joy and her gorgeous 4-year-old son Noah. We had a lovely time! I was so inspired by the exciting yet soothing mix of colours. One wall was pink, the other yellow – the plates were orange and the deep red candles had wax dripping down the shelving units.
A few minutes later we were joined by a sizzling beef fajita platter complete with fresh guacamole, fresh tomato salsa, black beans, spicy rice and sour cream. It went beautifully with the seabreeze Marguerita.
When I came home, I knew EXACTLY the fashion trend I wanted to write about: COLOUR. But not just blocks of it – mixes of it – all hues blended into one like the skirt of the dress above and made sexy with the touch of black at the top and the rich burnt orange wedge shoes.
This could be dressed down with a pair of black tights and flats or dressed up with either the shoes above or some gorgeous black tall pump heels and a gold necklace.
