We all know there are a few fashionable items guys just don’t get.

There’s rompers, turbans, high-waisted jeans, palazzo pants and wedges, just to name a few!

And while we might occasionally indulge in these controversial style choices, I’m sure the majority of women will give a thought to their male companion’s opinions before they go too far.

Not Leandra Medine.

She wears what she likes – men be damned.

Leandra is the founder and editor of The Man Repeller, an hilarious blog full of ranting and fashion experimentations. She goes where most women wouldn’t dare to go.

Patterned velvet bell bottoms? Plaid on fur on denim? Print over print, over print? Skirts over pants??

And that’s just some of the things she’s worn in the last couple of weeks!

Yet, she totally makes it work. She’s fearless, and reminds us all to have a little more fun and experiment with our fashion.

If you feel good in what you’re wearing, you can just go ahead and ignore what everyone else thinks. Especially those stinky boys!

However, she does say she’s not out only to stick it to men and their ideas of what women should wear – it goes deeper than that:

“My blog is not about repelling men, it’s about good fashion. Being a man repeller becomes a process of elimination. If a guy…won’t date you because of what you’re wearing, they are too driven by the female exterior and don’t care about your intellect.”

Probably a fair point!

(P.S. She’s good for a bit of inspiration too. That crazy style of hers has caught the attention of some of the biggest names in fashion. She’s even been featured in the Business Insider as a blogging success story, and she’s only in her early 20s!)
