Home AKL is an exhibition of contemporary art by more than 20 Pacific artists, most of whom live in Auckland, that explores the impact of NZ culture on the identity of Pacific artists who live in NZ. One of my favourite pieces was It Is Itself by Siliga David Setoga (pictured above). Check out Home AKL at Auckland Art Gallery until 22 October 2012.
