Lush Queen Street is back! And it’s better than ever!
On the morning of June 24th we were blessed to see the holy grail store open with a brand new interior. It has always been a favourite stop along Queen Street, especially during a quick lunch break or after a long day of work. The store has always been welcoming with a very warm, sweet scent that envelops you as you walk in through the doors. It has been a very trying couple of weeks without my finding-every-excuse-to-visit the store and I definitely missed it.
The night before Lush Queen Street opened, I was lucky enough to get a preview of the store before the big day.
Whitney, the store manager was so lovely and insightful. Don’t be shy if you spot her in store!
Chainsaw and Trace showed us what exactly it took to make some of our favourite lush goodies. One of which was Angels on Bare Skin, which has been my personal go-to every time a blemish decides to make an appearance.
The final product!
The new store has a much larger open plan space giving you more than enough reason to spend longer than a coffee break exploring the store. Every element in the store has been carefully and strategically planned to allow you the full Lush experience.
The store has been refurbished with second-hand wood, staying true to the Lush way of life using non-virgin renewables in their store. Their beautiful handwritten signs over each display now include te reo Māori translations. A lovely nod to our homeland.
Lush is known for its handmade products that use only the freshest of ingredients. These ingredients are sourced locally and ethically. For example their rose oils are bought from producers in Turkey, who work with 3000 local farmers to produce world-class rose oils. You can take comfort knowing the ingredients in your Lush goodies are not only some of the best, but also the fairest.
Lush has also decided to bring Christmas to us a little bit earlier! The Christmas in July collection launches THIS FRIDAY, with cult favourite such as the Snow Fairy, Rose Jam and Twilight shower gels.
They are also bringing back Christmas-exclusive bath bombs, such as Lord of Misrule, Golden Wonder, Shoot for the Stars and Never Mind the Ballistics. The collection will be available online from June 30th to July 19th. If you miss the online rush, they are in stores from the July 1st to July 19th.
Hope you have your wallets ready!
