The countdown is on for the 2003 NZ Music Awards and last year’s newcomers Nesian Mystik are shaping up to be the ones to watch on the night.

Nesian Mystik are finalists in eight categories including Album of the Year for their debut record ‘Polysaturated’, and Monster Vision Single of the Year for ‘It’s On’.

Veteran pop vocalist Bic Runga has taken a finalist position in seven categories, and last year’s big winner, hip-hop R&B artist Che Fu, is up for five awards.
