I’ve recently found a blog called 52 weeks project, with one new DIY tutorial project each week for yep, you guessed it, 52 weeks. This one for a homemade frosted whisky bottle caught my eye. Perfect for those with a penchant for old glass bottles and retro interiors!
Time: 15-20 minutes
Materials: A glass bottle, frosted glass paint (from Bunnings warehouse or online), a sponge or brush for application, craft tape or medical tape (just not sellotape!) to create your design.

Instructions:
- Create your design by taping over the parts of the bottle you don’t want to be frosted
- Use a sponge, brush or spray to apply the paint, depending on the effect you want (this one has been sponged)
- Remove the tape and remove any drips with a cotton bud, then leave to air dry in the sun.
- Fill your homemade frosted glass bottle with whisky or your favourite spirit, then set it on your shelf looking all debonair and sophisticated.
