1: Write everything down
Jot all of your appointments, tasks and events down in your diary. Write them down so you can figure out what needs doing and when. By having a time and a place for each task, you’ll feel much more organised and know where you’re at. Lists are also super helpful – write down everything you need to do – whether it’s the washing or that project for work and keep it near your bed. Cross off each task when you’re finished.
2: Use your resources
Technology is a great thing – use it to your advantage! Whether it’s utilising your calendar in Outlook or setting alarms and appointments in your cellphone, all of these handy helpers can really help to get you on task and on track.

3: Tidy up
Ditch the clutter in your environments and you’ll find it much easier to focus and concentrate. Suss out your work and home spaces with simple storage systems – folders, shelves, whatever floats your boat. When everything has a place and everything is tidy, you’ll feel and actually be much more organised.
4: Prioritise
We’re not just talking about prioritising your to-do lists (though it’s a great idea), but also figuring out what’s important to you in your life. Identify your personal priorities – maybe going to the gym, spending time with friends and family and work – and eliminate those nuisances and clutter which are getting in your way.
5: Get ahead
So you’ve finished everything on your list for today – but why not get ahead on your list for tomorrow? Whether it’s doing the washing, organising your doctors appointment or work tasks, see what you can get started on to help ease your load to make way for more time to relax in the weekend. You’ll feel much better once you’ve finished – we promise!
