Looking forward to a big night tonight? Here’s five quick tips to make sure that your kick off into the new year is a good one…
Tip One: Don’t over plan
Girls in particular have a tendency to over indulge when it comes to planning. Let a little spontaneity into the equation, you’re guaranteed to have more fun if you don’t always know what’s coming next.
Tip Two: Don’t drink too much.
This is an obvious one, there is nothing worse then taking it too far on New Years Eve and missing out on the first day of the next year! Again, it’s about balance!
Tip Three: Dress appropriately
There’s nothing worse than being covered in huge sweat patches in the middle of the dance floor or getting caught in a white singlet, shorts and a pair of jandals in the middle of a downpour. Think of the kind of event you’ll be attending and what kind of conditions you are going in.
Tip Four: Eat healthy!
Although you might be busy partying it up or organising the family, remember to eat and something reasonable! You need food to keep your energy up and if you end up not eating or eating junk food it will result in you feeling fatigued or nausea.
Tip Five: Take your camera!
NYE is a great time to spend time with friends and family so make sure to make the memories last by taking as many photos as you can. It’s something people often don’t think about on New Years and a few weeks later when you want to look back on your good times, you can’t! So make sure to grab your camera before heading out the door!
Lastly have fun and be safe!
