I’ve never actually used fabric softener before – in the past I have seen it as a bit of an unnecessary extravagance, my crunchy towels still dry me fine… I think after trying the Comfort Fabric Conditioner I may have to change my habits…
The very first thing you notice when you open up a packet of this product is the smell. It is quite strong, but not unpleasant. All of the fragrances were nice, I couldn’t tell too much difference between them and none had that horrible ‘toilet spray smell’ as my mother would say.
The next thing you notice is that it is no hassle at all. I don’t know why I assumed it would be, but I always thought it would be some added task to the already onerous job of ‘doing the washing.’ I leave my washing for ages, it is not something I enjoy doing and I have so many clothes I can literally go a month without doing any so the pile gets quite high. I was pleased to notice that even with the mountain of clothes I put in the washing machine, this product still seemed to work quite well.
To add to my laziness when it comes to washing, I also use a dryer. Even after a massive load of washing and drying, my clothes still felt softer than usual and had a very nice smell. As I work my way back through my heap of clean clothes, even a couple of weeks later I notice that the soft feeling and floral aroma are still present.
So if you’re lazy like me and your clothes don’t get washed that often (that really makes me sound quite terrible!) or if you just like sweet smelling and super soft fabric, then I would say this is a good product for you to try!
