Shiseido Moisture Mist Beauty Cake is my failproof cheap foundation option. If I had a little more to spend, I’d go for Estee Lauder or MAC…

A good idea is to go into a store that sells alot of make up brands and go through them all and talk to the consultants – sometimes the cheapers ones do not last as long or don’t have a very good coverage. Also depending on your skin type you might need to get something a wee bit more expensive so you don’t react to it.
Depending on where you live most Farmers now have a great make up selection, other wise try Life Pharmacy. Hope this helps :)

Revlon Colorstay is awesome. Great coverage and only $41.99 for a bottle that will last a couple of months (me around 8-10 weeks as I wear everyday)

Apparently Shiseido Moisture Mist Beauty Cake is the best selling in the world. They sell like one every 7 seconds haha.

    I use mousse make up… it’s maybelline.

I then go over with a powder… but not entirely happy with it. It’s a Revlon one.. going to try the moisture mist cake next!

IDK about cheap foundation, it works for some people but I’m not one of them.

I use mac from primer to powder to makeup fixer so, I’m no help sorry.

    Hi Misskrista.

I make have a brand called Doll FACE Mineral Make Up. I formulate all my own makeup. Its all minerals and its been compared to that of Clinque, MAC by my customers.
I HATE over priced makeup. Since I make it all myself, I can cut out the mark up. My loose powder foundations are $32, have great coverage and very simple to apply. You need a kabuki to apply it with.
Let me know if you are keen to try some. Here is my website

Dr Haushka foundation is the best. Great coverage and lasts all day. My skin is combination oily T zone, normal cheeks. This one works best all year round on this skin type, in summer when it’s more sweaty and in winter when a little more dehydrated. Totally recommend this one. It lasts for ages, worth the investment. Can get in farmers. When selecting colour for u, test all colours on side of your cheek next to each other, the one that disappears into your skin without looking obvious is the one!!

Thanks everyone. I currently use the Moisture Mist Beauty Cake and have to apply a lot to cover the redness I have. I was thinking of trying a liquid foundation. A lot of people recommend MAC.

Revlon Colourstay Velvet Creme is really good. It’s so soft that it feels like powder and smells lovely. I find it looks really natural and my friends have said they didn’t even realise I wore foundation!

I use MAC and it is amazing! It makes your skin look flawless. I’ve tried heaps of foundations before both cheap and expensive and this is the only one I’ve stuck to long term. I’ve been using it for 2 years now and won’t try anything else. I usually buy a few bottles at a time in Duty Free to save a few $$’s.
