I’ve gone on and on about this, but we gals neeeeeed to do strength and resistance training. No, not so we can have lovely arms (‘though lord only knows mine could do with a bit o’ love…), but because it’s really frickin important!
If you want to be able to continue to push, pull, walk up and down stairs and basically carry your groceries, you need to keep all your muscles alive. And arm muscle training is possibly the most neglected in our busy lives.
Fortunately, it’s not too tricky to strengthen the muscles in your arms, shoulders, abs and back… just get yourself to a gym, or at home if you grab some weights, and do this:
