Last week Zankou got the Book of Shadows and naturally now he wants the Nexus- which would spell the end for good in the world! When the girls resist his advances, he plots a plan that’ll absorb all their powers! So Zankou’s ready to take the girls down….
AND To make matters worse, Sheridan isn’t content to just throw Darryl off the case, she sets the Homeland Security guys after the girls as well and they too want to take the girls down!
Zankou’s “plan a” consists of getting a whole gang of his demon henchmen to start digging for the nexus. They could use magic, but Zankou’s smart enough to know that then Nexus would interpret that as a threat.
The Charmed Ones aren’t about to let him get away with it that easy- they cast a spell from the Magic School that sends Zankou packing. They also call in some reinforcements of their own to get the Book of Shadows back.
Trolls, fairies, leprechauns etc- everyone who’s got a bit of good in them that has been helped out by the Charmed Ones in the past signs up to the cavalry. The good-guys attack the demons en masse giving the girls a chance to get at the book.
One problem, the book doesn’t recognise the girls anymore and sends out a protections spell against them. Zankou meanwhile is starting to turn things personal- he’s no longer content with just the Nexus, he wants to take it to the Charmed Ones as well- he steals Phoebe’s powers when the girls go for the book!
Meanwhile, Sheridan has set Homeland Security hot on the trail of the girls. She storms up to the Manor, determined to get footage of magic on video. When she finds the place deserted, she begins to explore the attic, only to come across Zankou- who promptly turns her into toast! That’s all Homeland Security need to storm the house.
Things take a turn for the worst when the Vampire Queen that Piper hoped would help them out, ends up betraying her. Using Phoebe’s powers of foresight, Zankou manages to anticipate the girls’ attack and steals Piper’s powers as well!
Things are looking pretty grim- the Charmed Ones are facing big decisions. There’s no way they can take Zankou down without taking themselves down in the process. They pack up the boys and all the stuff about their lives and drop them off at Grandpa Halliwell’s. Meanwhile, Leo convinces Darryl for one last favour- he can’t let any agents into the house.
Back at magic school, the girls are discussing what options they have left. Zankou bursts onto the scene, ready to take Paige’s powers but is stumped when he finds out it’s actually just their astral projections he’s seeing- the real ones are backing at the manor taking back their book! Go girls!
They work together to try and draw up the nexus, but Zankou’s two steps ahead of them. There’s only one thing for it- they’ll have to blow up the Nexus and Zankou. Darryl had managed to keep the agents out of the house, but when the explosion occurs they storm on in.
There’s nothing to find though- everything and we mean everything got destroyed! Darryl’s pretty upset and Leo even more so- that means no more Piper, Phoebe and Paige!
Turns out though the Charmed Ones were smarter than that- they knew they’d have to do something pretty drastic to get out of this one, so they staged their deaths in the blast. Now that everyone thinks they’re dead, they’ll finally get to live their life. Awwwww!
