Winter Wonderlands – Skate in the snow this winter!
There’s something so magical about outdoor ice skating rinks – the fairy lights, the snow and the graceful (or not so graceful) figures skating across the ice. I’ve always been jealous of Central Park’s amazing outdoor rink, so I was thrilled to hear that this winter New Zealand has been treated with not one but TWO outdoor ice skating parks – with one in Auckland & one in Queenstown!
The perfect opportunity for some family fun, get inspired by movies like Blades of Glory, bust out your bedazzled leotards and hit the ice!
The Auckland rink is covered to protect skaters from the elements, but if you visit the Queenstown location at the right time you might get the chance to skate while the snow falls around you!
Prices are around $20 – $25 for adults and $15 for children, with both rinks offering family pass options.
