Our favourite: Onsen Hot Pools

Onsen, Japanese for hot springs,  is the name of some pretty superb hot pools in Queenstown. Featured in a series of The Bachelor a few years ago when the couples visited NZ for dates, these pools are indeed luxury plus.

Each hot pool is in a private room with a retracting front, so when it opens you have an amazing view of the surrounding hills and the Shotover River. After a day up on the mountain skiing or snowboarding, this is a great way to relax your muscles, or you can up the pamper factor by getting a Candlelight or Indulgence package. Ah, bliss….
