Who knew tow trucks could be so tasty?!
After seeing pictures of these little guys floating around the blogesphere (like this one from Bakerella) I was itching for a way to rationalise making some. Luckily my boyfriend moving in with me provided the perfect excuse. He may pretend he’s too old for the Cars movie, but the way his face lit up when he saw them proved otherwise!
Although mine weren’t quite as cute as the originals they were still adorably recognisable and worth the two and a half hours they took to decorate! They were almost too cute to eat, but temptation and sugar cravings won out pretty fast.
The few leftover Tow Mater cakes were happily devoured by my seven year old brothers, proving they’d be perfect for celebrations with boys of any age.
