With the cold weather comes dry and lackluster skin. Here’s how to take care of your body during winter to maintain a beautiful glow all year round.
We’ve put together our top five tips to look after your skin this winter as part of our Winter Skincare Special!

1. Moisturise
Apply moisturiser immediately after showering to lock in moisture and protect your skin from dryness. We suggest Rosken Dry Skin Cream as it forms a protective layer which seals in moisture, while also repairing your skin. It’s been formulated to use on dry and damaged skin and is clinically proven to double your skin’s moisture in just four days. Enriched with Olive Oil Extract, the natural antioxidants help to regulate the natural moisturising system of the skin, to leave skin feeling moisturised, soft and smooth.
2. Cool it down
Don’t make your shower too hot or you’ll dry out your skin. A soothing warm shower will relax your muscles and still keep you comfortable when it’s cold. If you’re brave enough, switch to cold for the last 20 seconds of your shower to tighten and tone your skin.
3. Move it!
Exercise is great for eliminating toxins and stimulating blood flow. It helps to clear out your skin and regulate oil production.
4. Live healthy
Avoid alcohol, caffeine, soft drinks and cigarettes, which drain your skin of moisture. Instead, drink plenty of water and eat fresh fruit and vegetables. Remember olive oil and fish oils are great for skin – think of it as moisturiser that you eat!
5. Humidify
Use a humidifier to put water back into the air and protect the moisture levels in your body. Often indoor heating causes our bodies to lose water and dry out. Open windows during the day (also wipe around them to prevent mould) and keep leafy plants around the house to filter the air.
Rosken Skin Repair Dry Skin cream is available at The Warehouse, Postie Plus and leading supermarkets and pharmacies nationwide for $15.95. Its non-greasy formula absorbs quickly so you can feel the difference straight away. It’s great for sensitive skin. For more information visit the Rosken website here.
