Super cute and so much fun, Christchurch label MisteR totally impressed the NZFW crowd with their fairy tale inspired collection ‘Not So Grimm’. On a catwalk strewn with leaves, an adorable and totally wearable collection of plaids, polka dots and leaf prints for both guys and girls came down the runway.
MisteR also had such sweet styling – check out that gorgeous make-up and hair, and cute little gingerbread man and heart brooches. It was a really strong collection with an emphasis on tailoring with an old school charm. MisteR’s focus has primarily been really tailored menswear in suiting and knits up until now, but this show saw the debut of their equally tailored womenswear with suiting and lovely fitted knit dresses among the pieces. Perfect if you want to mix and match with your boy’s wardrobe!
They also had one of the best goodie bags of the week with stylish bow-ties and tasty little gingerbread boy and girl cookies in keeping with their theme. This is a collection I will definitely be wanting to add to my wardrobe next winter!
