Ladders. In your stockings, these are not so good. In your bedroom, however, displaying all of your treasures, they are great!
Great as a bookshelf, stacked with shoes, filled with treasures and trinkets or with scarves draped across them – you can pretty much fill them up to your heart’s content.

Buying new can be a nice, easy way of achieving the laddered look – or inspire something you create yourself. Like the concept of the A Frame Shelving, that could easily be replicated using a second hand A Frame ladder and then boards between each of the steps.

Going vintage can also be a great way to source your wooden ladder – or look out in antique stores etc. You can keep the shabby chic look, or sand and paint/varnish for your own twist.

What an awesome idea, i would love a white wodden ladder with the shelves on it like the freedom one – or even better two with the hanger in the middle like the Ruby boutique one.

I own the pictured ladder (from Freedom), best buy ever, great for housing my Japanese money cat (which any day now will make me filthy rich), Ecoya candles, books, CDs, jewellery box, you name it! L.O.V.E.
Would also TOTES be mine, except for lack of space in said room. Can you think of anywhere to put it? IF only my large lotus lamp would also fit on said ladder!
This is just what my room is missing, I’m going to check in with my Dad and see if he has one lying around the house I can paint.
