Over the past few weeks a new wee alley of shops has been developing itself on Auckland’s K Rd. It’s called the Cross St Arcade and you could blink and miss it! Hunter Gatherer’s fresh new store opened there last week.
Husband and wife team, Nathan and Gem Speeden have been doing the market circuit for a good while here in Auckland and further afield, you might have seen them about. Their stalls always seemed like a store to me anyway so it’s the perfect natural progression for them to find their permanent home.
It’s a shop for girls and boys which is always nice for a shopping outing with yo’ man, full of their hand-drawn design t-shirts, bow ties, eclectic jewellery, prints, crisp white walls and wooden surfaces, it really is a wonderful space for the best team to show off their wares. Complete with succulents and hanging plants plus the odd beautiful deer antler coat stand I highly recommend a visit!
Good friends don’t let friends shop at chain stores.
