Hot Five this week is brought to you by the nzgirlHQ team and features must-have shoes for winter, drool worthy nail polish, a one off Katy Perry cover and much more!

LUSTING AFTER_ The Guard Boot from The Warehouse.
The collaboration of The Warehouse and Roanne Jacobson is a match made in heaven. The label, Saben Says, means gorgeously designed clothes, shoes and accessories that are on trend at a ridiculously cheap price. Which we LOVE. This week the office has been lusting after their mouth-watering winter footwear collection. There’s a range of styles but our favourite is the Guard Boot. Pick this pair up for $69.99 from the end of May.

SHAKING WITH EXCITMENT FOR_The Katy Perry California Dreams Tour!
Myself, along with thousands of other Katy Perry diehard fans, can’t wait for the princess of pop to touch down in NZ and perform her three concerts on Saturday, Sunday and Monday evening. With her first two concerts at Auckland’s Vector Arena and Monday night’s show at Wellington’s TSB Arena Katy Perry fever is starting to take over. And after this cover of Rebecca Black’s song Friday during her Melbourne concert I can’t wait to see her perform her own songs live.
LOVING_OPI’s Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides nail polish.
Katy Perry’s Black Shatter nail polish is old news, but this week OPI released a limited edition collection that appeals to those of us who enjoy something a bit more subtle. The Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides nail polish range features softer, paler colours with a silver top coat that has that same shatter effect. And in true OPI style each nail polish has a unique and unforgettable name. Our favourites are the Steady as She Rose pale pink and the Skull and Glossbones light grey but check out the whole OPI collection here. Find these are your local OPI stockist for $24.90 for a limited time.

FREQUENTING_Green With Envy
Here in the office this week we stumbled upon a New Zealand online homewares store and fell in love with its homely feel. Let alone the cool layout of the website, the products are a bit quirky, a bit retro and a lot of fun. From a Longest Drink in Town plastic cup set to a cute handmade hot water bottle cover that’s made from 100% recycled wool these items will make your friends green with envy- hence the name of the site greenwithenvy.co.nz. So if you’re after something a little bit original we suggest having a hunt through this website.
CELEBRATING_NZ Music Month
It’s the first week of May and we all know what that means… New Zealand Music Month has kicked off for its annual celebration of our home grown musical talents. Two nzgirls that are on our radar for the month are former Fur Patrol lead singer Julia Deans and one of our fave artists to watch Anna Coddington. These two ladies have joined forces for a national Keepsakes tour which looks set to be an enchanting night of music performed in intimate settings across the country. See when they’re in your neighbourhood here.
