Hot Five this week has been compiled by nzgirlHQ and contains a to-die-for pair of heels everyone must buy for Spring…plus yummy snacks, a good cause and a new track by Taylor Swift!

LOVING_Saben Says Dr Opera
If the shoe fits, buy it in every colour and that’s exactly what I plan on doing with this divine creation from Saben Says. I have fallen in love with these shoes (as has everyone else in the office) and can’t wait for their debut tomorrow night at a friend’s party. The ‘Dr Opera’ is part of the spring collection from The Warehouse but I do have it on good authority that these are in some stores already (make an orderly queue ladies, ahem I’m talking to you Jenene). For just $69.99 they come in Black and Electric Blue, with a fashion cutting heel and gold trim. I love them so much I may just sleep in them. Available exclusively to The Warehouse, which quite frankly, is rocking my world right now. Fi x

DEVOURING_all natural guacamole
With the cold, dreary, wet, windy weather of winter rearing its ugly head we have definitely been reaching for comfort food this week. And on Thursday afternoon when a special delivery of corn chips and a new all natural guacamole came into the office … it was devoured on the spot. Made from two whole avocados, fresh coriander, onions and spices the new Fressure Foods Guacamole is delicious – as good as making it yourself, minus the mess! And with the promise of no additives, no preservatives and only using NZ avocados there is not much to fault this new snack on. Available from all major supermarkets nationwide for $3.99 it’s a must try. And if you like something with a bit of kick try the All Natural Spicy Guacamole that has jalapeno pepper for an added wallop.
SUPPORTING_Lifewise Big Sleep Out
Are you game enough to rough it on the streets for a night with no more than a cardboard box? Well business and community leaders throughout Auckland are going to be doing exactly that in two weeks from now. The purpose? To raise funds and awareness for the organisation Lifewise who aim to bring an end to homelessness by 2020. With just a sleeping bag, and a change of clothes people will be taking to the street on July 7 from 6.30pm to 8am the next morning to spend a night in a secured, but largely exposed Auckland location. The likes of Marc Ellis, Dick Hubbard and Metiria Turei are just a few of the public figures who are getting involved and each participant has the requirement of raising at least $1000. You can sponsor people here or find out how else you can get involved here.

LISTENING ON REPEAT(No, really)_Taylor Swift Mean
I have a real soft spot for Taylor Swift and can’t help myself but sing along, bop my head, tap my foot and even throw in the occasional hand clap for her soon-to-hit-our-shores single Mean. Creeping its way up the Billboard charts as we speak this song is catchy, go lucky, slightly geeky and 100% awesome. If you’ve already memorised all the lyrics from Tay Tay’s latest album Speak Now you will already know this song (and I am sure agree with me it’s awesome), but if not have a listen here... She’s sticking it to anyone who was ever mean to her, or anyone who has ever been mean to you. And T-swizzle looks super cute throughout the clip singing along to the tune of a banjo. LOVE it!
LUSTING_Mr T. Necklace
I’m not a big necklace wearer, but every now and then I spot one that I have to have. And that’s what happened with this new One Luv Mr T. necklace. It’s super cute and would be the perfect accessory for a casual outfit of jeans and a baggy tee on the weekend. Available in 18K gold, silver or gun black on a long ball chain I think I’d want mine in either silver or black. However, if you’re after something just as funky, but a bit more girly I also have my eye on the Origami Bird necklace which is from the same collection. Both necklaces are $AU60 and can be purchased online or at three stores across NZ.
