LOVING_ Country Road’s 5 Pocket Crop Jean
I’ve been on a mission for the past year to find a pair of coloured jeans that make my heart sing. I’d searched high and low and was always disappointed with how they looked on. Some jeans just don’t hold you in, you know? That was until last weekend when I walked into Country Road in Newmarket. The new range of 5 Pocket Crop Jeans caught my eye straight away and I’m happy to report they fit like a good pair of jeans should. I bought the reddy pink colour – it’s a fun way to inject some colour into your wardrobe and embrace spring. They’re available in a plethora of bright, pastel and neutral colours for $109 at Country Road stores nationwide and online here. But get in quick, these pants are flying out the door.

GETTING CRAFTY_DIY Chalkboard Fireplace
I’ve been thinking about making some changes to my place for a little while now and while searching for inspiration I stumbled across this wonderful idea. The nostalgia brought upon by chalkboards makes this so much more fun – when I was a kid I painted the inside of my tree house with chalkboard paint. It was awesome. This DIY project allows for heaps of creativity and fun as you can change up the pictures or words on your board whenever you want. Grab chalkboard paint from your local DIY or hardware store and spruce up your fireplace, door, or any blank wall! I’ll be giving it a go this spring for sure.

BROWSING_Maybelline, L’oreal and Garnier on mybeautystore.com
I love mybeautystore.com. This NZ beauty website sells quality makeup AND delivers it to your door free of charge! There’s also an awesome loyalty program that you’d be silly not to take part in. On top of their already amazing selection of brands they’ve just added Maybelline New York, L’oreal Paris and Garnier! That’s all my fave brands in one place. What more could a girl ask for?! Take a look here.
TREATING MYSELF TO_Chocolate Malt Milkshake
We all know a Hot Five wouldn’t be complete without a #fullfatfriday treat snuck in. We discovered this scrumptious recipe on the blog A Beautiful Mess this week and are eager to give it a go. Chocolate, cream and ice cream; it’s all the makings of a #fullfatfriday indulgence! I’ll be serving this up at BBQs and backyard picnics this summer. #omnomnom
