LUSTING FOR_ Glassons Chambray side detail dress
Sunny days means it’s time for summer dresses to come out and play, even if it’s with a cardi on top for now. This long weekend I’ll be chilling out in this super cute Glassons Chambray side detail dress and hoping for more sunshine! Chambray is such a soft and comfy fabric to wear and this style is oh so sweet too, I love the criss cross details on the sides and it’s a pretty great price at just $49.99. You can get one from Glassons stores nationwide or online here.

LISTENING ON REPEAT_ Annah Mac Bucket
Summer has come early in the form of Annah Mac’s new single ‘Bucket’. Listening to her new song just makes you want to get up and throw down some dance moves. The music video is a great match for her single and it has just been released – check it out here. Even if you don’t feel like dancing it will surely bring a smile to your face. Turn the speakers up and have a listen to this sweet tune - I guarantee it will cheer you up! Annah is nominated for Single of the Year and Breakthrough Artist at the New Zealand Music Awards 2012, fingers crossed she wins! Download the single here.

CURRENTLY READING_ A Cook Book a Month
You could say I’m a cookbook collector. I love the gorgeous food photography, the delicious recipe descriptions and the way the beautiful covers look stacked in my bookshelf. The trouble is, often I try two or three from one book and ignore the others or I buy a book and then I don’t enjoy the recipes. The blog “A Cook Book a Month” solves this problem. “A Cook Book A Month” is written by three friends who try out different recipes from one cookbook each month. They then review that recipe and at the end of the month, they review the book to decide if it’s worth using again. In fact, it’s also how I base what new cook books I’ll buy now – because there’s nothing worse than buying a beautiful book full of dud recipes. The blog is written in a conversational tone with the odd comment from their children vouching for the recipe’s success or failure. A great blog and a good way to choose the best cook books out there. I bought “Bill’s Every Day Asian” on their recommendation and everything I’ve made has been a success.
