In today’s Hot Five one of our resident bloggers, Katie Dwight, shares her favourite things from the week with us. We’ve got the season’s hottest fave finds, a new lip balm PERFECT for those hot summer days and a cute little kiwiana online gift store.

CAN’T GET ENOUGH OF _Tie Dye
The 60′s are back in a big way this summer and tie dye is no exception. There are so many gorgeous tie dye pieces in stores at the moment for the new season so release your inner boho babe nzgirls! Gone are the days of horrific DIY multicolour tie dye jobs, this season’s look is all about keeping it chic with ombre colour palettes and floating tops and dresses. My favourite is this pretty ombre top from Jeanswest, it’s the perfect staple piece to add to your wardrobe.

ADDICTED TO_endemicworld
When I’m looking for the perfect gift for friends or just a little treat for my home endemicworld is my one-stop-shop. This website has the coolest range of New Zealand inspired prints and gifts and is sure to please even the fussiest of people. I am not a huge fan of kiwiana themed decor but this website features some amazing modern pieces and funky inspirational prints that would look awesome in any home, and add a designer touch to any space. Have a browse here!
LOVING_Revlon ColorBurst Lip Butter
Revlon ColorBurst Lip Butter comes in 20 gorgeous shades for the summer season and is the perfect lip colour to wear all summer long with its hydrating balm to keep your lips smooth and soft. These beautiful lips butters are the perfect alternative to lipstick and gloss, they are not sticky or tacky, they won’t dry your lips out AND you will still get a gorgeous pop of colour which actually lasts a reasonably long time. I cant get enough!

SWEET TOOTH FOR _Sorbet Tones
I am in love with the gorgeous new range of Sorbet Toned shoes and accessories at Number One Shoes. Fall in love too with beautiful soft colours from baby blues to lemon yellows and peppermint greens. This collection screams sugar and ice cream – what more could a girl ask for? These spring shades are a fresh take on 50′s femininity, pair with cute skirts and floaty fabrics to create a look that is ladylike and fun.
SINGING IT FROM THE ROOFTOPS _fun. Some Nights
fun. is definitely my new band crush. Since buying their CD two weeks ago for a cheapo $16.99 I have not taken it out of my stereo. Their indie pop style of music is so inspiring and heartwarming and every song is amazing. In fact, there is not one song that lets the compilation down so you can be sure to have hours of uninterrupted, joyous listening time (if you put it on repeat like I do!) Download it on iTunes or grab it from your favourite music store, you will not be disappointed!
