LUSTING_ Garage Suede Like Top

You just have to stroll through your nearest big red shed to see spring 2011 is a bit boho chic, a bit 70s and a lot smokin’ hot. From floral floaty tops, flare jeans and this hot hot hot suede-like top The Warehouse has you covered. At the launch this week Fiona and I had a bit of a poke around the entire collection and there were lots of items I will be adding to my wardrobe. However, my stand out piece that you need to go and buy is this Garage suede-like top…isn’t it to-die-for? And at $29.99 no such drastic measures will need to be taken. Pair it with these Rachel jeans and this pair of Saben Says cute wedges and you’re good to go. And look at that – the whole outfit comes to $160 . Enough said.

LOVING_ ECCO summer zone

After work on Tuesday evening I dashed off to the ECCO spring/summer launch to not only see the new collection of shoes but to choose my favourite pair. It was like being a kid in a candy shop – so many shoes, so little time…so many decisions! Did I want a pair of their unbelievably comfortable heels? Or some trendy street shoes to replace my smelly ol’ chucks. Or something a but more practical like their range of running shoes? After trying all the options I walked out on a cloud of sweet softness in the ECCO Summer Zone leather street shoes valued at $299.99. In the past I’ve been known to walk past the ECCO store wrongly thinking the shoes were a bit Mumish – but I highly advise against this, this season. Their spring/summer collection is right on trend and you’d be mad to walk past a pair of shoes that offer you comfort and style.

If you’ve been under a rock for the past 24 hours and have not heard the news that made me get squeal with excitement (unfortunately whilst I was sitting in traffic yesterday) the one and only Taylor Swift is coming to town! The country/pop princess has announced she is to bring her Speak Now Tour down under in 2012 including a show at Auckland’s Vector Arena. Described as a two hour theatrical performance including elaborate costumes, banjos, dancers, aerialists and various stages throughout the venue this show is going to be good! And if you need more convincing … her recent concerts in the US have been sell outs! The concert is Friday March 19 (click here if you can’t wait that long) but tickets go on sale two weeks from today so set a reminder on your phone now.
