My night at DSTRKT….
There’s one thing I love about my foodie friends … they know how to choose a venue for their birthday. And this is how I came about walking through the doors of the £25 million celeb magnet restaurant and nightclub DSTRKT London last Saturday night.
DSTRKT, yes that’s right, a place this trendy doesn’t need to apologise for its lack of vowels. It adds to the overall ‘too cool for school’ effect.
The place exudes opulence, with its low lighting and chic interior and there wasn’t a female employee in the place who didn’t have legs up to her armpits.
One look at the website gallery will show you that the creme de la creme of the celebrity world have walked through the DSTRKT London doors.
- Kanye West.
- Gywneth Paltrow.
- Stella McCartney.
- Rihanna.
- The list goes on.
Needless to say I was looking forward to this.
Cocktails and canapés were whisked towards us upon arrival, everything from mini pulled pork burgers to figs and cheese. It was all delicious.
We were then seated for our feast to begin. Starters. Cold Course. Seafood Course. Meat Course. AND Desserts.
The food was pretty superb! There were shared plates of greatness with fancy additions such as Soy Air (personally I hope that came for free, soy air? Not exactly sure what that is to be honest!)
It’s around this point you’re secretly thankful if you chose a loose or elasticated outfit.
DSTRKT. To put it simply, it’s fun, it’s fancy and the food is good.
Add it to your MUST-EAT-AT in London list, nzgirls xx
