How many of us have dreamt of being a rock star? Yip, I’m guilty too and perhaps not for the most obvious reasons either.
While I’d love to front the country’s hottest sounds I’m not quite ready to break into the scene as the next Gin Wigmore!
Our fav musicians (like Miss Wigmore) always seem to boast an effortless sense of style. Whether they’re at an event or rockin’ out on stage they always look so naturally chic and packed with self-confidence. Okay, so some may have a helping hand when it comes to creating the perfect ‘look’ but there are a bunch of great hair products that can help us feel and look like a star without having to leap into their bathroom window to raid their cabinets(by the way, we don’t suggest that!).
All of the below will aid in creating hair styles reminiscent of your fave Kiwi rockers. My personal favourite is Kevin Murphy’s Fresh Hair, a “dry cleaner” for the hair that gives body and the look of freshly washed hair, removes odours and all your sins from the night before. Brilliant! Other must haves include volumising hairspray to keep your look in place, a heat protectant spray (no, not for the super-hot stage lights!) to use on your tresses before the hair irons, and of course a portable hair brush with a mirror attached.
