LOVING_ My Dame de Paris Bra

You can’t go wrong with a subtle yet sexy bra – which is why I love my new one from European brand Marlies Dekkers. The Dame de Paris style has full support so it’s comfortable yet the strap detailing gives you a little somethin’ somethin’ that’ll catch the eye. Trend setters Lady Gaga, Mila Kunis and Victoria Beckham have all been spotted in this bra – so why wouldn’t you? It’s a great way to dress up a simple black singlet or dress and looks flattering under sheer tops. The Dame de Paris black wired padded balcony bra seems to be a little tricky to get your hands on but it looks like you can buy it online here. Also keep an eye out on ASOS, as it’s been on there before but is currently sold out.

CAN’T GET ENOUGH OF_ Kerastase Fibre Architecte

Although balayage may look cool, it’s not so forgiving on your hair. Throw in some hair straightening damage and a couple of month’s worth of the winter elements and hey presto my tresses look dull, split and a little frazzled. If your hair is in a similar condition I’ve got some good news. Fibre Architecte from Kerastase is a miracle worker. The leave-in treatment has a dual serum that works to reconstruct, repair and restore your split ends. The results? My hair (especially the ends) became softer, shiner and stronger. I’ll swear by it. Find it at your local Kérastase Paris salon for $48.

Can’t seem to find that perfect piece of art to finish off your room? Well Scottish-Chinese designer Tinja Wright had the same issue before she launched BLANK – an interactive website that offers customised wall art that won’t cost you a small fortune. You can now create your own striking, graphic canvas in colours to match your particular interior. You simply pick a background print and an icon to put overtop and you’re set. But if that’s not limited edition enough, there’s a bespoke arm of the business where the BLANK team will whip up prints made to order. BLANK first launched in 2009 in Hong Kong, but as of now it’s officially available to us over here in NZ. Try it for yourself here

DEVOURING_Mad Millie Cheese Kits

Ask any of my friends, say the word ‘cheese’ and I’m there. So when an invite came across my desk for Mad Millie Cheese Kits I was like a moth to a flame. And I was not to be disappointed either with fried haloumi cheese offered to me as I walked in the door. But my personal fave was the block of fresh feta with basil pesto in the middle… and to think I can make it at home simply by adding water to a Mad Millie Cheese Kit. Yes please! I’m not sure where I got the notion that cheese making was a time-consuming trait that had to be left to the experts because basically if you can bake a cake you can make cheese. And make it you should. Not only does it taste good, you get to see exactly what’s going in, there’s no artificial baddies and it’s likely to work out cheaper. Mad Millie Cheese Kits are available from and range from $39.90 to $179 depending on what cheese you’re making.  #foodieheaven
