READING_The Vintage Tea Party
If you love all things vintage, parties, dressing up or baking then you will adore The Vintage Tea Party. Written by Angel Adoree – the owner of London’s Vintage Patisserie – this is one of my absolute favourite cookbooks. Punctuated with beautiful photographs and cute illustrations, this quirky book is filled with all the food, drink, decoration and beauty ideas you could possibly need to host the perfect tea party. With recipes for everything from Earl Grey Truffles and Rose Pannacotta to Gingerbread Pudding and Apple Crumble Cake this book is sure to have you hooked.

If you’re looking for somewhere a little special to visit, you can’t go past Eight at the Langham. Take your taste buds on a journey around the restaurant’s eight kitchens, preparing everything from meat and seafood to sushi, salads and Indian – as you like it while you wait. But make sure you leave enough room for pudding – their dessert bar is to die for, with enough sweet treats to sustain even the biggest sweet tooth. Visit between Monday and Thursday and receive free valet parking to help make your indulgent meal a little more luxurious.

LUSTING AFTER_Alex Monroe’s Birds and Nest Ring
I love all the bird accessories around at the moment, but Alex Monroe’s Birds and Nest ring has definitely got to be my favourite. This beautiful ring has two little birds perched upon the twig-like band, keeping watch over their nest which has a little pearl egg settled within it. The perfect balance between being eye-catching and bulky, this dainty ring is definitely top of my wish list at the moment. Pop in to Playpark by Karen Walker for a first hand look, or pick it up online for £145.
CAN’T GET ENOUGH OF_Fred Time-M
I adore Russian dolls so cannot wait to lay my hands on this new addition to Fred’s M range, the Time-M. Combining the functionality of a standard timer with the cuteness of matryoshkas, this timer is perfect addition to any busy kitchen. Simply pull off the top of the large matryoshka and turn the smaller one tucked inside around to the time you need. Despite baking several times a week I’ve never conquered the oven timer, so can see the Time-M being right at home in my kitchen! Available at Living & Giving for $29.99
