 As we grow older, our knowledge bank increases. We figure out a few things – like how to manage money, keep ourselves healthy and dress ourselves well.
Some of us even work out how to have a happy relationship. So what should you know about love and sex by the time you are…
 18-years-oldEighteen is a big milestone. Two years have passed since it became legal for you to drive yourself around town – and to have sex. Chances are, though, you don’t know much about what it means to be in a real relationship. A healthy image of love and sex at eighteen will probably revolve around thoughts of a future lover, who will one day become your long-term partner. However, the stress is on future – at eighteen, it is healthy to be experimenting within your personal boundaries.  21-years-oldBy 21, a lot of girls will have lived through or be experiencing a fairly serious relationship, by which I mean one that has lasted more than 3 months. However, you will by no means be abnormal if you haven’t! A lot of girls might be waiting for marriage – while for plenty, the early twenties can be a chance to experiment with one-night stands and flings.
You should be able to look after yourself – but do be careful. If you are testing your limits, you need to be sure to listen to your intuition. Twenty-one is an emotional age – you may be experiencing some confusion when it comes to love and sex, so watch yourself and keep learning.  25-years-oldThe mid-twenties will probably see you finding true love – if you haven’t already. Be open to it and do not fear commitment. It can be beautiful – and it can be terrible, so don’t be afraid to put yourself out there for either experience. At 25 you are old and ugly enough to get through it if it all goes wrong! At 25, you should be gaining an idea of what it is you want out of life, relationship-wise. So keep an eye out for that lucky guy or girl!  30-years-oldAt thirty, most of us will know where we are heading in life. Many of us will be seeing this birthday as a deadline for marriage and babies. But don’t get caught up in the shoulds and should-nots. Most thirty-year-olds have an idea of their future that extends beyond clichés and age requirements. You will probably be looking beyond aesthetics and searching for a common soul. Most thirty-year-olds will tell you that they know themselves well – and wish they hadn’t worried so much about love in their twenties. If it hasn’t already – it will happen.
