Amanda Bynes (from the hilarious She's the Man) returns as the modern day Snow White, in the latest chick flick destined for girly slumber parties; Sydney White (get it? Snow White, Sydney White...ahh love the cheese!).
A tomboy at heart, our heroine Sydney is more into football than fashion, making her the most macho Snow White to ever grace our screens. But missing her mother, who passed away when she was younger, Sydney makes the uncharacteristic decision to pledge to the sorority where her mum used to go.
But times have changed and once a sorority to be proud of the 'Kappa' girls are now stereotypical bitchy bimbo blondes ultimately headed by the evil Rachel Whitchburn (aka The Queen).
Rachel is the bitchiest (but unfortunately not the ugliest) of them all and when she spots her ex-flame ogling sweet, sexy Sydney she gets pissed off. Her revenge - kicking our fair Sydney out of the sorority house.
Down but not out, Sydney stumbles upon an old dwelling known as 'The Vortex' (I think this is meant to be the cottage in the forest... I don't know how you get Vortex out of that?). There she becomes guest to the 'seven dorks' (socially challenged, sexually inexperienced, video-game playing dweebs.... Bless).
When Sydney realizes that Rachel’s planning to turn 'The Vortex' sorority into her own self-named Greek Life Centre (she is like... so self obsessed!). Miss White and her seven dorks launch into a counter attack!
Being the little witch she is, Rachel gets nastier, convincing a hacker to erase Sydney’s hard drive (Noooo! The e-mails, the pictures, the assignements!) – essentially ‘poisoning her apple’.
Check out this adorable movie and re-live your favourite fairy tale in an all new setting. It’s a sweet flick and perfect for getting the girls together for a cute little pick me up and some good clean fun.
