Baby (Jennifer Grey) and her family arrive at the cute and oh-so-gorgeous holiday resort in the Catskill Mountains. When they arrive, the innocent Baby is almost immediately swept off her feet by the sexy, talented and mysterious Johnny Castle (Patrick Swayze).
When her father forbids her to have anything to do with the hot dance instructor and his friends, she finds herself falling madly in love with him and learning the passionate Latin dances that he loves so much. It’s a film that’s all about love, passion and the journey from childhood to adulthood - we love it!
What makes this anniversary DVD even better, are all the fabulous additions. Think the original greatness of Dirty Dancing, but better! The first disc contains a re-mastered version of the movie, with enhanced picture and sound quality like never seen before! The second disc comes packed with new goodies, including Dirty Dancing with Patrick Swayze (yay!), deleted scenes from the film (there are some seriously steamy shots!), Jennifer Grey’s original screen test, out-takes, alternate scenes, interviews and much, much more!
I’m a die hard fan and I absolutely loved all the extra goodies. The quality of the actual movie was wicked, the scenes were crystal clear and the sound was amazing. I’ve seen Dirty Dancing many a time, and it felt like I was experiencing my first time all over again!
The bonus features are an extra special treat! I especially loved checking out the deleted scenes – if you’ve ever wanted an extra fix of Dirty Dancing (and who hasn’t?!) than this is it. And the steamy scenes between Baby and Johnny are just to die for – you seriously need to check them out for yourself!
