This romantic comedy stars the gorgeous Ryan Reynolds as a 30 something Manhattan dad in the midst of a divorce, when his curious 10-year-old daughter Maya (of Little Miss Sunshine fame), starts to question him about his life before marriage. Will gives Maya a gentle version of his story and changes the names so that Maya has to guess which woman he finally married. Is Maya’s mother Will’s college sweetheart, his long time best friend or the free-spirited but ambitious journalist that he dated?

Set in 1976, this hilarious film sees the outrageous Will Ferrell star as Jackie Moon, a washed-up one-hit wonder who uses his brief moment of fame and fortune to buy a professional basketball team. He purchases the Flint Michigan Tropics, elevates himself to their top player and quickly transforms the team into the worst franchise in the fledgling ABA league. The Tropics are on the verge of being disbanded, so Jackie must rally his fellow players to actually win a game before they’re forced to call it quits. Release Date: April 10

If you’re a sucker for a dance flick with a bit of romance, this is for you! Similar to Step Up and Save the Last Dance, this flick tells the story of Raya Green who thinks she’s escaped her bleak inner-city life by attending an exclusive private school. However, when her sister’s stint in rehab and eventual death drains the family bank account, Raya is forced to go back home. Things aren’t all bad though as she finds herself diving back into the fast paced world of step dancing. Release Date: April 10

Melanie (Raven-Symoné) is a high school student who can't wait to go away to college and get away from her overprotective father (Martin Lawrence), who happens to be the town chief of police. Hoping to visit several different schools to pick the one she wants to attend, Melanie has a big wrench thrown into her travelling plans when dear ol' dad insists on escorting her across the country. This movie is fun-filled and great for a few laughs.

This film is gorgeous! If the thought of seeing a flick based on a Dr. Seuss book makes you feel like a loser, grab some little people and take them along (they make the perfect excuse)! If you don’t know the plot already, Horton (voice by Jim Carrey) is an elephant who hears a cry for help, which comes from a speck of dust that idly flies by his massive ear. Determined to save whoever or whatever is stuck in that dust mote, Horton is ostracised from his community who think he has lost his mind. Release Date: April 17

The guys behind the Scary Movie line up have used their own ‘special powers’ to spoof superhero movies. After being bitten by a genetically altered dragonfly, high school loser Rick Riker begins to develop superhuman abilities, and transforms himself into a superhero known as “The Dragonfly.” However, of course there’s an evil villain standing in his way, Lou Landers, who has the ability to steal a person’s life force. Both you and your man will get a kick out of this one! Release Date: April 24
