 If you’re looking for a delicious cocktail that comes served with a bit of style, Bar 3 is the place for you!
Located in Auckland’s Skycity complex, Bar 3 is at the centre of Auckland’s nightlife and with two of the top 10 flair bar people in Auckland, is guaranteed to entertain. Bar 3 has become renowned as one of Auckland’s premiere bars and this is not without reason. It’s all done in style, with our friendly bartender for the afternoon Thomas, whipping us up some very tasty treats that were not only delicious but were also presented beautifully.  From left: Bartender Thomas, 'Be Basil'd', Liselle hard at work!The ‘Be Basil’d’ cocktail is a drink with a bit of body and kick. With a spicy and strong bite to it, this is the perfect cocktail for the kind of girl who would pick a beer over an RTD. Moving away from the traditional sweet cocktails, Bar 3 offers something for everyone!
Be Basil'd
 Ingredients 1 whole lime, chopped 3 cubes of sugar 4 big leaves of fresh basil Crushed ice 60ml Absolute Peppar vodka Red chilli to garnish - Put the lime, sugar cubes and basil in a glass and muddle
- Fill the glass with crushed ice
- Add 60ml of Absolut Peppar
- Fill up glass with soda water and stir
- To garnish, slice a hole in the side of the chilli and put the stalk of a basil leaf in the hole to create a basil tree.
- Enjoy it while it lasts!
