We've done all the hard work, and scoured through the latest network offerings to bring you 2008's must see telly programmes.
Some of these shows are so new that release dates haven't been announced yet! But we like to make sure you guys are in the know, so here's what to look out for over the next few months...
Big Day This hilarious comedy shows that everything matters at a wedding, and even the smallest details can have serious repercussions… Big Day follows Danny and Alice, as their wedding day turns into a season-long roller coaster where nothing goes according to plan. And as an added quirk their wedding day runs over the course of an entire season, with each episode focusing on it! TV2, starts Friday February 8 at 7.30pm Secret Diary of a Call Girl Former pop star, Billie Piper plays a beautiful prostitute who leads the ultimate double life. To her parents she’s Hannah, the legal secretary who works long hours, while to her clients she is known as Belle - the call girl who becomes whatever they desire. The season follows Hannah’s struggle to keep her two different personas separate. The fact that the series is based on the real life blogs of a London call girl makes this show even more watch worthy! Prime, Release Date: TBA
Gossip Girl Gossip Girl is huge in the US and it looks set to be just as hot here. Set in Manhattan’s Upper East Side where gossip rules and affluent prep-school students find themselves with the money, access and appetite to explore all the temptations New York City has to offer.

Cashmere Mafia
Hailed as the thinking woman’s version of Sex and the City this is one of the must see new season dramas! Lucy Liu stars as one fourth of the Cashmere Mafia, a quartet of bright, driven, relatable women who support each other through rocky marriages, rival colleagues, kids' recitals and the hunt for the perfect loft. Having been friends since college, this season follows them as they watch out for scheming rivals who are eager to bring them down. TV2, Release Date: TBA
Army Wives This is a new drama that looks at the struggles, dreams and friendships of a diverse group of women - and one man - living with their partners and families on an active army post. With a wide range of characters, there’s sure to be at least one you’ll relate to and love. TV2, Release date: TBA
Pushing Daisies This romantic comedy shows us the strange world of Ned, who can bring dead people back to life through the power of his touch. The people he touches, however, can only stay alive for one minute, and if they don't die again, someone else nearby will. Ned decides to use his ability to solve crime. He and a local investigator bring murder victims back to life and find out who killed them, to cash in on case-solving rewards. But when Ned brings an old crush back to life, and decides to let her live, things start to get complicated... TV2, Mondays 9.30pm
Dirty Sexy Money This seductive new series is all about power, privilege and family money. It follows the absurdly wealthy Darling family of New York, and their lives - filled with dodgy people and dodgy goings on. They enlist the help of family friend and lawyer Nick George to help protect all their dark secrets. Although the job has an huge salary, Nick finds that his new position requires him to be an all-around problem fixer, hand-holder, therapist and public relations expert! TV2, Wednesdays 9.30pm
