The Coshercot Honeys We’re all Lions Ep: After receiving a heap of airplay on Auckland’s highly esteemed 95bFM, comes the Coshercot Honeys' debut release ‘We’re all Lions’. Drawing on a range of influences to create a unique sound , The Coshercot Honeys set themselves apart from the increasingly cluttered indie scene. With hints of garage, psychedelic pop and prog rock, this is a varied and refreshing album that showcases a band full of promise.

Seal System: It’s back to the dance floor for Seal who returns with an album that despite some tedious and rigid tempos, is still a club worthy and atmospheric record. The move to sonic electronic beats takes Seal both forward and back in time, with the constant being his rough and soulful voice and thoughtful lyrics.

Three Houses Down Dreadtown: This 12 piece reggae band are big up and comers in the New Zealand roots scene, with a tight album to vouch for it. After featuring on the Conscious Roots 3 compilation album, these Otara boys are ones to watch with their cruisy vibes, beautiful harmonies and horn laden sound.

Rocked 07 Compilation: What is initially described as the hottest rock tracks of '07 should be more closely considered a disappointment. Whether the disappointment lies in the state of today’s rock music or the fact that someone seems to have sifted through the most exploitative of ‘artists’ to once again milk commercially viable songs, which sound more pop than rock, is up to you. That said there are a couple of good tracks on the album such as the Kings of Leon’s ‘On Call’, 'Muses’ ‘Starlight’ and a few good ol’ kiwi tracks. Just steer clear of Nickleback, Hinder and Daughtry.
