It’s Friday, which means cocktail-o’clock is fast approaching! Check out this tasty treat you can re-create for yourself at home, just in time for the weekend...
This week we headed along to Wagamama Cocktail Bar in Newmarket, where we are treated to an indulgent cocktail named ‘Black Forest’.
Located in the heart of Newmarket’s dining and shopping area, Wagamama combines the best of both worlds with a busy restaurant downstairs and a laid back cocktail bar upstairs.
Our bartender Isaac worked his magic and whipped us up this divine cocktail, which combines the sweetness of strawberries and cherries, with the richness of silky chocolate, laced with raspberry slush! And it tasted even better then it sounds!

Ingredients 15ml strawberry liqueur 15ml cherry brandy 15ml white crème de cacao 30ml brown crème de cacao 45ml raspberry cordial 1 scoop of ice
Add the ice and raspberry cordial into a blender. Mix well (you may need to stop and shake the blender).
Use a spoon to remove any large unblended chunks of ice from the mixture.
Add all remaining ingredients into a martini glass.
Spoon the raspberry slush into the martini glass
Use a straw to even out the slush (do not serve the drink with a straw - the idea is to drink through the raspberry slush. It’s the best way to taste all the yummy flavours!)
