It’s the holidays, which means you can justify a cocktail at any time of day!  Check out this tasty treat you can re-create for yourself at home, just in time for New Year's...
This week we visit Wagamama Cocktail Bar in Auckland to enjoy a deliciously sweet cocktail named 'Kagero's Kiss'.
There are three Wagamama restaurants located throughout Auckland (Sylvia Park, Metropolis and Newmarket). We visited the Newmarket branch, which is nestled along the high street shopping area of Nuffield Street. With a busy restaurant downstairs and a laid back cocktail bar upstairs, Wagamama has the perfect balance of delicious food and delectable cocktails.
Our very knowledgeable bartender, Isaac, whipped us up this divine cocktail which combines lychee liqueur, Parfait Amour and elderflower cordial to create a unique taste, similar to Turkish Delight! You can try this out for yourself at home, or nip into the bar to try one made by the professionals!

Kagero’s Kiss
Ingredients
30ml gin
15ml Parfait Amour
15ml lychee liquer
15ml elderflower cordial (or kiwi syrup)
5-6 mint leaves
2 whole lychees Add ingredients to shaker (except for the lychees).Add ice to shaker.Shake well.Add lychees to mixture.Pour into rock glass.Enjoy the light, subtle taste of Turkish Delight in this cool, crisp cocktail!
