We’ve had a sneak peak and Season 3 of The Hills is looking as glitzy and dramatic as ever! It’s a brand new season and Lauren wants a fresh start. She’s finally over the heartbreak of her ex-boyfriend Jason, she has a new flatmate, Audrina, and Heidi is pretty much out of her life after moving in with Spencer.
The first episode starts off with Lauren filling Whitney in on the latest gossip; someone’s been spreading nasty rumours about a sex tape she allegedly made with Jason. Although there’s no proof about who exactly started them, it’s obvious the main suspect is Heidi.
Lauren hasn’t seen Heidi all summer and is glad to have her, and all her drama, out of her life. But with The Hills girls, things don’t stay drama free for very long! Heidi misses Lauren and the girls, and wants them back. She invites them to her and Spencer’s housewarming party; but after everything that’s gone on, the girls aren’t too keen. Instead they decide to go on a girls’ night out to Les Deux, Lauren’s favourite club. Things heat up when she meets a hot British tourist.
The next night Lauren and Heidi bump into each other at a mutual friend’s birthday. It’s an awkward situation as Lauren tries to keep her distance, while Heidi is desperate to confront her. All the tension erupts when Heidi finally ambushes Lauren; making for the wildest yelling match in The Hills history! This scene is a definite must see.
The Hills has always been full of drama, but this season it looks set to peak. Lauren’s moving on without Heidi in her life, but Heidi just can’t let go! We’ll be seeing a lot more of the ever-cool Whitney, who after graduating from College has been promoted from Teen Vogue intern to employee, and is now Lauren’s boss. We’ll also get to watch as Lauren and Whitney deal with the dating scene, and Audrina finds an actual love interest for the first time. Big things also happen between Heidi and Spencer, but you’ll have to wait to find out!
If the premier is anything to go by, this season looks hotter than ever! The Hills is definitely going to be this summer’s must see TV show. Check it out on MTV, channel 60 SKY Digital, every Tuesday at 8pm.
