This month we’re celebrating Tall Poppies so our challenges are designed to help you stand out from the crowd…
TAME
Start a diary. You’re never going to get where you want to go in life, if you don’t know where that is! A diary doesn’t have to be an account of what you ate and did that day, rather jot down your thoughts, feelings or even use it to note down inspirational quotes and stick in pictures and photos of things that make you feel good.
Find a way to exercise inside. Fill bottles with water to use as weights, use your stairs as a step machine or do toning exercises while watching TV. Just because it’s cold out doesn’t mean you have an excuse not to keep fit!
INTERMEDIATE
Hot up the dance floor. Search out some salsa classes and start shaking your booty. Not only is this a fun way to keep fit, it should also give you an extra dose of confidence when you head out and you’re sure to stand out on the dance floor with your new moves.
Make a must-read list. Put together a list of all the books you want to read then head to your bookshop or library and get started! You can’t beat the satisfaction of checking items off your list. For inspiration take a look at the BBC’s Big Read List here.
CHALLENGING
Change your look. Give yourself an extreme makeover. Winter is a great time to road test a darker hair colour or go for a major cut or restyle. It’s fun to mix up your look and you’re guaranteed to turn heads with a dramatic change.
Always wanted to be your own boss? Start thinking about what you love to do and figure out how you can make that a viable business. Head to our entrepreneur section for inspiration.
