QUESTION ONE What do you see happening on my relationship front in the coming months? This year one of my goals was to be open to meeting new people or having new experiences. So far this has been very successful but it is the relationship front that I am concerned about. I live my life actively but get pangs of loneliness. Any advice would be massive!
You are on the right pathway. When you change your life and make such positive steps, you cannot help but attract a partner. The loneliness will end very soon I can assure you, you will have someone before Autumn 2006. It will take some time to connect and grow the relationship, but that is fine, you are in no rush and it will have a solid foundation.
Your card is: Two of Cups Keywords: Love* Healing* Meeting of Hearts* Reconciliation
The focus here is the meeting of hearts and the creative blessings that come from this. It may be a meeting that has already taken place or a new connection, it doesn’t matter. This message can relate to a romantic relationship, a creative and fertile working relationship, a close and fruitful friendship, or any situation where there is a meeting of hearts, minds or soul. This is a time of connection and unity in all matters.
QUESTION TWO I have recently made some positive changes in my life although I feel my mother may not be coping with them. Is she ok? Also, I'm in a relationship at the moment which makes me extremely happy. Do you see this lasting?
The relationship will last and become stronger. As for your mother I'm afraid if you concern yourself too much with her lack of coping you will jeopardise your life in general. She needs to accept your changes, and if she does not like them then there is nothing you can or should do. She should accept your choices and be joyful that you are happy!
Your card is: The World Keywords: Completion* Fulfilment* Success* Abundance* Achievement* Ecstasy* Union of Outer and Inner Life.
“Dancing, I am life. Whole. I am One.” There is a dance in life. There is great success and a sense of deep and satisfying fulfilment. A cycle is completed and there is a pleasing sense of completion combined with the joy of achievement and feeling ‘On top of the world’. The waiting is over, preparation done so now enjoy the dance. You will celebrate the completion of a long, hard phase of work. At a deeper level a phase of spiritual and personal development is finished. You can stop striving and be open to the blessings that follow.
QUESTION THREE I recently discovered my partner of five years has been having an affair (although he insists there has been no 'intimacy') with a work colleague and consequently I asked him to move out. He did but as he had nowhere to go and no money, I ended up saying he could stay in the flat while I was on holiday. When I returned from holiday he was very emotional, crying and contemplating suicide. He regrets what he has done and says he loves me and wants to be with me. There are some deep-seeded issues from his past that I don't think he has dealt with and I think it's depriving him from a sense of worth. He says that he doesn't deserve to be happy. I detect he is suffering from depression. Do you think we have a future and how can I help him?
An affair is an affair and you know it! You did the right thing, and then gave him respite while you were on holiday which was plenty of time for him to get sorted. If he wants to be with you he has to move out, sort his issues, become independent and someone you can rely on. Most importantly you need to feel you can trust him. If he does this there could be a future. There won’t be a future if you allow yourself to be held to ransom (which is what suicide threats are), and continue rescuing him. If he wants and loves you enough he will go heal himself and be the best man he can be for you. How can you help? Give him a list of therapists or places to get help, tell him that if he wants you to go fix his life, then here is his motivation. That is the best way to help.
Your card is: Three of Cups Keywords: Celebration* Friendship* Gifts
Enjoy the pleasure of your friendships. Both your friendships and relationships have been a casualty of your busy life. Friends are an essential element to a fulfilled and spiritual life. The ancient saying goes: Three things for a friend – Let them be to you a second self; let not their misery estrange you from them; do for their memory what you would do if they yet lived. This is a message of joy and energy and the end of a difficult, exhausting period in your life.
