Two Tribes

Australia's largest and award winning electronic dance music festival, Two Tribes comes to the Saint James Complex, Auckland for two nights, February 28th and March 7th, as the size of the show proves too big to stage on one night.

Originating in Melbourne six years ago, Two Tribes has grown into Australia's largest dance event - attracting up to 20,000 people at a single event. Two Tribes is a Mecca for lovers of all genres of dance – including trance, house, progressive, techno and breaks. Last year saw Two Tribes hit the road for the first time, and the phenomenal success of that tour sees it happening again in 2003, with some of the biggest names in dance joining in the spectacle.

Winner of ‘Best National Event’ at the most recent Australian Dance Music Awards, Two Tribes is part rave, part club, part carnival, and will present an outstanding selection of big name internationals including Armin Van Buuren, Mauro Picotto, Sander Kleinenberg, Junkie XL, Layo & Bushwacka, Dave Seaman, Meat Katie, David Morales and Frankie Knuckles.

Complimented by a hand-picked collection of Auckland’s finest talent, Two Tribes will be run over two nights in Auckland featuring a selection of the world’s greatest superclub and mega-event producers like Godskitchen, Global Underground and DefMix. Combined they’ll provide an endless variety of the finest music right across the spectrum of dance genres.

The nights will be programmed as follows.
