Madonna got down and dirty (in a good way!) at the site of her future academy for girls in Malawi yesterday. The 51-year-old was joined by her 13-year-old daughter Lourdes, as she planted a “miracle tree” at the ground breaking ceremony. Madge told the crowd, “Growing up in a privileged life, I took education for granted…but coming to Malawi has taught me a lot of things and (I have) learned to appreciate what life gives.” Madonna’s new school will cater for 500 girls, and according to ABC News, construction will cost about $15 million.
