This week we've got some hot giveaways - delicious Russian Standard Vodka and a skin clearing goodie from Dermalogica...
Dermalogica Clean Start Dermalogica has released a new brand skincare line, specifically for teenage skin. Clean Start is designed to combat breakouts, without artificial fragrances, colours, stripping alcohols and other aggressive, irritating ingredients. We like! Dermalogica worked with teens and young adults to create the products – giving the line a unique “created by us, for us feel.” The eight piece system works on the basis of three key steps – 1) Getting Clean, 2) Taking on the Issues and 3) Protecting Skin. Even if you’re not a teen – it’s a great way to get clear skin without any pesty skin clogging ingredients! Find out more at www.cleanstart.co.nz. Starter Kits are available for $83.20.
WIN: Our fav piece from the range is the Brighten Up SPF 15 (RRP $49.20) – a multi-tasking lotion with UV-shielding SPF, which contains a natural tint and shimmer to give your skin an all-day glow (Mix It Up also love it!), while fighting off imperfections at the same time! To get yourself in the draw simply enter 'CLEAN START' in the ‘I want to win’ button at the bottom of the page.
Russian Standard Vodka
A couple of weeks ago I was invited along to the launch of Russian Standard Vodka, at Lenin Bar in Auckland. Everyone was given a shot of Russian Standard Vodka, and although I’m definitely not the kind of girl who likes to swallow her vodka whole, I was very impressed when my gulp slid down smoothly, without any nasty kicks or stinging. I didn’t even shudder! Russian Standard Vodka is Russia’s No.1 premium vodka, made with a combination of Russia’s best vodka making traditions and modern distilling techniques. It’s smooth, velvety taste makes it perfect for yummy cocktails – grab a bottle for your next big night out!
WIN: We’ve got three bottles of Russian Standard Original Vodka (1 litre) to give away to some lucky readers, valued at $38.99 each. To get yourself in the draw just enter RUSSIAN STANDARD VODKA along with your date of birth, in the ‘I want to win’ button at the bottom of the page. *Entry is strictly R.18, and winners must provide proof of age.
Denim Jackets I’ve been on the hunt for the perfect denim jacket for a while now, and I’m stoked that with the arrival of spring has also come an abundance of cute new jackets in stores. Spring is the perfect time to whip out a denim number – they are a great in-betweener for those times when it’s too hot to wear a coat or leather jacket, but you want something more substantial than a filmsy cardy. Spring also makes it easier to avoid the sinful denim-on-denim rule because they go fabulously with flirty spring dresses. In particular, I’m loving the crop versions – like this one from Lippy, and all for a sweet $69.90!

Anyone Can Cook, Annabel Langbein
Save money, get healthy and score extra brownie points in the kitchen with Annabel Langbein’s new book, Anyone Can Cook – fresh ideas for busy lives. The book was born from Annabel’s concern that too many kiwis resort to unhealthy pre-packaged meal solutions – because they lack the confidence or time to cook. It is beautifully laid out and features simple, easy to read and create recipes. The ingredients are all kitchen basics – no need to worry about crazy exotic things you’ve never heard of, and the recipes teach you how one key ingredient or flavour base can be expanded into many meal solutions. Our fav recipe? Greek, Feta and Spinach Pie. It’s a must-have for the nzgirl who is a little unsure, or time poor in the kitchen. RRP$29.99 Ramarea
